1970 F100

The Gulf Truck was a fun little shop-truck that was built as a side-project in between all of the customer-builds.. It was a great driving cruiser that was updated with the front subframe and rear axle from a 2003 Crown Victoria. With disc brakes on all four corners and rack/pinion steering it drove like a dream. Powerplant is a cammed 390FE bolted to a C6 transmission. Edelbrock intake and Quickfuel carb made it a healthy runner. The CVF serpentine drive helped update the power steering and A/C pumps to more modern and efficient systems. The lowered stance and 19” Rotaform wheels gave it a menacing, but not overly aggressive stance. We had an aluminum splitter cut by our local water-jet as well as the fins to build the rear diffuser in lieu of a bumper or roll pan.
