1957 Buick Roadmaster
Besides being one of most gangster bagged-out Buicks on the street, this Roadmaster is a huge part of Night Shift’s history. This is Harv’s car. Harvey was the owner of the shop when Night Shift opened its doors. Many of the months in the early years the rent wasn’t paid by cash or check like most landlords prefer. It was paid with sweat-equity and tradework on the Buick. It was a very long and steady process for this car to take shape, but the finished product is nothing short of a masterpiece. Kyle would probably be too modest to make that claim, but I’m not him! The factory 400 lbft 364 ci V8 was mated to a TH400 trans using a Bendison adapter. The front end was subframe swapped, and the 10 bolt disc brake rear is set up on a parallel 4 link and its running double-fold bags on all four corners. Creature comfort was sacrificed for street cred using the A/C compressor to run the air-ride instead of cooling the cab. Even here in the desert some OG’s still prioritize kool over cool.
